Finally Getting On The Train
When Modern Technology Fails...
Soon we were on our way to Woodlands checkpoint, and on the way, we all got a glimpse of where we live. Taking the train also gave us an insight to some places just hidden behind buildings, and even some places that were out in the open, but you just couldn't see properly from the main road.

Not long after, we were in Johore and then it was off for some lunch. Deciding to have some pizza, we were glad to find that people celebrating their birthdays get a special treat. We decided to try the special pizza and snack set they had on offer, as well as one of the pizzas that weren't on offer in Singapore. Other than the crust, the pizzas were a bit of a let down this time, and the attitude of the staff definitely didn't help. Thinking they would present it with a little more enthusiasm, the birthday dessert pizza was just placed on the table without even a simple 'happy birthday' to the birthday girl. Thanks a lot there.
Well, other than the disappointing lunch, just walking around, getting away from Singapore, and being able to shop at half price still made a day well spent.
Once we all got tired, it was time to head back and then all the photography testing out our phone and camera functions started. Mom just sat in a corner keeping herself busy with her crochet.
Finally the train arrives, and we get some last minute photos in before boarding. Once we realise we got the cabin to ourselves, out came the cameras again. Before we knew it, we were back in Singapore and off to our own beds.
