Today I wanted to give Uncle Shane a nice breakfast, since he sleeps in half the time and eats junk. So woke him up with a kick and we were off to the city. Well you can guess where I brought him and Shirley, where he had the same thing I did the last time and Shirley had an Eggs Benedict. After breakfast, our rather crappy tour guide led us to get some nougat for those with sweet tooths. As he doesn't like shopping, and I had a deli in my bag thanks to my grand-aunt, I decided to head back to my sis's place to dump my things before I head out to another part of WA. Uncle Shane on the other hand wanted to go back to sleep , and Shirley decided to stay in the city to do some touring on her own. So Bob was nice enough to walk me to my bus stop and carried part of the stuff I had to lug back, finally giving me a big before he left. How sweet... but really odd.

Got home and it's a warm summer day. Even with a fly screen, those buggers managed to squeeze through the gap between the doors. Armed with a can of insect repellent, pissed-off Michelle went around the house spraying ever nook and cranny, and even you, if there was a fly there. She had an appointment and left, leaving the dead flies for us to sweep up. This is what we found in one sweeping. The worst bit of this was that I tried to kill a roach that got smooshed and cut in half, but it's legs were still moving and crawling on the wall. Eck!

Back to the nice bits. My sis had wanted to bring us out to The Como for dinner ever since I got there. As we didn't have any plans and nobody was in the mood to cook, we all agreed to head out. For some odd reason, it was really crowded tonight unlike all other Fridays according to my sis and the staff there. We decided to wait for a table anyway, and got one rather quick with my sister's persistence. My sis and Shirley decided to try one of their specials, some prawn thingy with rice. I just didn't bother with anything else and picked the kangaroo steak, although it didn't look anything like a steak, enjoyed with a nice ice cold pint of beer.

While making our way back, our path was partially lit by the huge beautiful round moon. Along the way there was a truck lit with coloured lights around the edges and some stupid drunk people who tried to get into our photos. The end of our little journey was marked by a cute bunch of flowers surviving just outside my sister's aparment compound. We have an early day planned for tomorrow, so it's best we get to bed.
