First stop for us was to Cicerello's Landing for a seafood brunch. With the arrival of the competitors in the Clipper Race, Fremantle was much more crowded than it was last week. For all the children expected to be there, entertainers were hired to keep them happy. Some were entertained by a stilt-walker who also made balloon sculptures, while others had their faces painted (kids) or we're given a short tour by the Clipper exhibit guides. We got a really nice spot, with a great view of the boats, and enjoyed ourselves with all the entertainment around us.

After brunch we took a short walk towards the markets, stopping to have some fun and at Cold Rock for the dessert I've been waiting to try for almost 6 months. Would the combination you make tell others something about you? Hmmm....

Once we were done in Freo, it was off to Subi by train. There we met Russell and I guess that was the highlight there. It's almost the same as Freo but I found the only shop (so far) that sold the brand of nougats I was looking for. Since we were all rather tired, and the shops were closing, we headed back to rest our feet.

With the ingredients all waiting in the kitchen, cooking was on my mind from the time we got home. With Michelle out on a date, it was just the three of us and a big colourful dinner.
