Waiting For Shirley To Pay Up
The taxi came rather quickly this morning and got us to the airport in no time. I guess not many are awake at that time in the morning anyway. After checking in and getting charged for overweight baggage, due to the ngeow-ness of the Australian side, I left Shirley on her own at the airport and got into a massive jam at customs. Imagine the pace you'd get when you try getting into Johor on a busy day - exactly! Once I was through that, I had to get my hand luggage scanned and that's where I was asked aside for a random explosives test. Honestly it was rather interesting to see how a little swipe with a piece of cotton wool can get things done. Onward(!) to the waiting lounge and it's just a sea of passengers waiting to get onto their flights. They should have just scrapped the shops there and replace them with more chairs and a simple corner Mamak stall. Since there was obviously nothing better to do than watch them loading your plane, all I did was snap snap snap.

Finally it's time for boarding and basically it's late, good thing is, there aren't any missing passengers. Once I got on board, I found my seat occupied by some lady who obviously wanted a window seat but couldn't get one since the flight was full. Poor woman had to get the seat next to me, basically the last seat on the plane. Well too bad she got me as I chose the bloody window seat for a reason and with a look, had the stewardess get her to move. There's always a plus point about being kiasu or an internet nut. The plane leaves without anymore delay and we're given another tour of WA as we fly back to Singapore.

The breakfast this time was nothing to shout about. It had that little extra K-Time bar, probably just to push a local product. I don't get why they have to give strawberry yoghurt. Couldn't they give blueberry, or some other fruit, or just a plain one since we get fresh fruit? Well anyhoo, doesn't matter, time to get back to the window. The flight was nice and smooth till it was somewhere over Indonesia where we got some turbulance and I kept losing control of my Super Mario game.

The Queue For Rain Permits
I guess the best thing about flying back to Singapore is that it gives you a great view of Indonesia and it's surrounding waters for almost an hour before you land. With the great weather and light, I was able to see some reefs and the few tiny islands that probably has no human inhabitants.
Time for all the crew to get to their seats and it's time for me to start my video! Since I can't seem to upload big videos anywhere at the moment, I guess you either have to watch it on my comp, or wait for me to find a way. Finally landing in Singapore, got through customs without a hitch and I'm greeted by my mom. Since she was there, she kept me company till Shirley arrived and it was time to head home.
