Another day we had a late start and it isn't good when you're supposed to be heading to the airport. We had enough time to get ready but by the time we were down, our driver was already waiting for us. So off we went to the airport just as the famous Bangkok jam was starting to pile onto the roads. It took about 30 minutes to get to the airport and we got there just in time to check ourselves in. After getting our photos taken again at immigration, we were through to spend about an hour to do any last bit of shopping and shop we did. I finally got an elephant I'm really happy with and Amy got the snacks she kept wanting to get for her family.

Soon it was time to make it to our gate and it was all fine until we reached the baggage scanning area. The security guy, being the smartass he is, put almost all my bags in a basket and gave a tag for every basket. In the process of getting through the scanner, one of them flew out from my hands. Since the fall, I basically couldn't bend or squat and was considering leaving the tag on the floor but I thought of asking Amy to help me get it but before I can tell her, the smartass looked at me as if I was a retard, and the guy behind Amy came up to help me pick it up. The smartass then waved at me to walk through the scanner and I just found him the most idiotic, rude person I've encountered on this trip. Thank goodness it was the last person I'd see before I had to get on the plane or else I'd be fuming on my way home.

After we got into the plane, we had to wait in line to get to the runway and got to catch a few flights taking off and landing in Bangkok.

Get Off It's Our Turn Now!

Once we were airborne, I started to watch "Cassanova", and we soon got our meals. Amy got her standard chicken meal, while mine was the seafood meal that had a local dessert made from glutenous rice, gelatin-infused coconut milk and some red beans and a mini nest, made from sweetened eggs, for garnish. Sadly we had to land before the movie could finish and it was stopped just at the point where things got interesting.

After we landed in Singapore, we split up and made our own way home as we both wanted to change before we attended Fadillah's wedding. Once I got home, I got the message I expected long before today, that Amy won't be going. Soon other messages were coming in that other girls weren't going and to send their best wishes to Fadillah. Well, other than the photo with the wedding couple, all weddings are the same anyway. I got there just about the same time as Junaida & Hannaria so we decided to stick together to catch up on all sorts.

Fadillah's Wedding
What's So Interesting On The Left?

Right after the wedding, I got a cab and picked up my mom before we made our way to Alexandra Hospital to get my back checked. Let me warn you that their blood pressure machine can really squeeze! After mine was taken, I had more injuries on me than I did before I came in. Well it didn't hurt but it sure left weird marks. The next doc had me get up on the bed and I think that hurt me more than the leg lifts I had to do. Then I was sent to get X-rays done and getting up on the cold metal slab was worse. The thing about x-rays I don't get is that you have to remove any metallic things from your body but you're lying on metal and there's computers everywhere. Anyway, I realised I forgot to remove my nose stud. When everything was done, they tell me there's no broken bones and that it was just a contusion that should heal in a few weeks. Why can't they just say it's a bruise?
