It was an earlier start from normal as it was dad's day off and he wanted to bring us to the markets where stuff would be a lot cheaper. It was one of the markets the locals would shop at for anything they would need. Cloth, clothes, food, toys, pans, cutlery and even livestock. I'm not sure if the live chickens and ducks were sold so they could bring them home and slaughter them fresh, or so they could be left alive to continue laying eggs. What was nice was seeing how the locals spend their time at any little peaceful corner they can find.

Very Fierce Guard Dog

After we found some things we wanted, we had to get a nice big brunch to last us the afternoon as we would be on a slightly long journey to Bogor to meet up with a former trainee. We ended up at Boplo Gado Gado, the one dad raves about, the one he brought me and mom to, the one he brought my sis and I to as well. Today it will be Adi's first time and I couldn't help but order my 2 favourites, the Ayam Soto and Tahu Telor. Adi and dad had the Gado Gado and Adi sure enjoyed it.

We head back to the hotel just in time to freshen up and head out to meet Putra. He's now playing with his band in Bogor Nirwana Residence. It has a small food courts which also doubles up as a performance area, and the streets next to it can be closed for street performances such as the bicycle stunts they did when we were there.

The food there was quite yummy too. We had Satay and  Sup Buntut with rice cakes and Cakue (dough fritters). Might be a bit of a strange combination but they all somehow go well together, especially when you're hungry.

No matter how fun it is, the night still had to end, and we had to head back as dad was also getting really tired. So one last picture with the group before we all had to part till next time.
