Shirley flew in today and since we couldn't arrange some transport for her, my poor friend had to grab a cab from the airport. By the time she got settled with her things it was too late to go shopping. A few days before I had made some arrangements with my grand-aunt to have dinner and since Michelle and my sis had some work to do, Shirley and I made our way to Maylands. The directions given to us were to take a bus to the city, then a train to Maylands and just a short walk to the house after. When we got to the train station, we were basically lost. Here we are looking for an information counter but there seemed to be none. Somehow we were lucky enough to ask a lady who was headed in the same direction and led us to the right train. Then it was time to get lost again at the station as it has changed quite a bit from my last trip there. So we got our tour guide (my uncle Shane) to come get us.

Shirley, unlike me, didn't mind Chinese. Since it was my grand-aunt, I gave in since she's living there, missing all that Asian cuisine. We took a slow walk down the road from their apartment and had dinner at the restaurant just beside the house another grand-aunt used to own. Well honestly this restaurant had tastier food than the first one I went to but my grand-aunt siad it was really crappy. Finished up whatever we had and she showed us the apartment that was being sold. As we were walking back to the apartment, Shane decided to get some ice cream but they didn't have any in tubs and he ended up getting a couple of Gaytimes with an extra hedgehog slice for himself. Eating that bar of ice cream brought back so many memories that I don't know where to start.

Back at the apartment, we watched a little TV while I bothered Shane by taking photos of his tattoos. I still say he's trying to look like someone in the Japanese Yakuza. After a while, we ordered some pizza from Dominoes just before they closed. The pizzas came rather quick and I had a great time eating all that junk food. The "garlic bread pizza" was a nice change from the usual little garlic bread loaves or buns they usually serve. A slice of that together with on of the double bacon cheese burger pizza" and I'm in heaven. Mmmmmmjuuuuunkfoooood....
