After my grand-aunt got her shopping done, we accompanied her at the bus stop till her bus came. Shirley and I then looked for tours we could go on and found something nice right behind the bus stop. We went on to get a few more things, letting Shirley take note of the shops she'd like to come back and visit. On the way back to make dessert, my sister calls to make sure I didn't forget my little task for the night.
A Walk Down Memory Lane
The reason I chose the recipe for tonight's dessert was that it needed almost no time at all to prepare. I realised that I had a problem when I was shopping for the ingredients the other day and the recipe called for 4 standard packs of chococlate buttons with no weight to indicate what roughly is standard. In the end I had 2 huge bags of buttons but used less than half of each as there was too much buttons compared to the amount of chocolate binding all the ingredients. Luckily everything stuck together and so dessert was still on the menu.
My sis was at home the whole day cooking for the dinner, making the house all oily and smokey. Michelle had gone out shopping for Christmas, as well as get something for the appetizers she had planned to make. Once she got back, she whipped up the appetizers and just in time, Russell made his appearance. Everything was quite perfectly timed and dinner was great (other than the pre-marinated chicken from the supermarket).

Mr Vain, Daryl "Cheng Hum Sup"
Before the boys could even finish their food, they were already discussing cars and Daryl was trying to get a ride in Russell's modified (but half done) car. Once they polished the food off their plates, the were off for a quick drive round the neighbourhood making a whole lot of noise. While they were out, the girls cleared the table, getting it ready for dessert. For some reason Michelle wanted to clear the sink as well but gave up when we told her that she wouldn't be done by the time the guys got back.
After all the chit chat, letting the food settle in the stomach, it was time to kill everyone with a giant slice of chocolate. Enchanced with a few slices of one very huge strawberry, it looked really yummy, but only the true chocaholic can finish it in one sitting. So in the end we found out that Michelle is really a chocolate monster, while Daryl came in second.
Well, nobody cared if anyone finished it as most of us were quite full from the dinner itself. Russell had to leave later on for a race or something, while Michelle was still asking if anyone wanted to go to the casino. In the end, we just cleaned up and went to bed with sugar plums and fairies dancing in our heads.
