Rushed to the toilet at 8.30am this morning and decided I got enough sleep. Plus the fact that my sis wanted to bring me out to the city and she said to wake her up if I got up before her... hehehe. Woke her up and she thought I was mad. Anyhoo, it was a nice morning and why bother wasting it at home? Off to the city with me looking forward to a nice breakfast like eggs, sausages, bacon, toast and all that jazz. If anyone offered it buffet style I'd be much happier.

We entered through the Trinity Arcade and were thinking about having breakfast at Dome when we happen to past a tiny cafe with really chirpy staff that greeted us like they've just recieved bonuses. Not to mention the fact that they were eye-candy. So since the smell of coffee was already making my stomach rumble, we didn't bother going further. While waiting for our food to be served, we noticed that the customers were cute too! Great way to start one's morning huh?

My Sister's Voyeur Camera Skills

When the food arrived, you couldn't help but take pictures. If anyone sees a breakfast like this in Singapore under $20, let me know. I could make it myself for that amount but who wants to when u can get pampered a little, plus you don't need to wash up? As for the glass of orange juice, it's bigger than a medium-sized cup at our fast food outlets. The straw was rather long, but with huge cups like that, they probably served larger take-away stuff with dome lids. It was obvious my sis was just indulging herself with an order of blueberry pancakes and ice cream in the morning.

My Big Breakfast

Leftovers?

Nummy

When our tummies were filled, it was time to shop. At one of them, my sis spotted a nice crochet top and my sister had me get a pic for my mom. Will she ever get my mom to crochet it for her? I don't think so. Mwuahahahaha!

Soon we ended up getting hungry and my sis decided to let me try the Japanese food there. Once again I wished I didn't have to. I think I would've been happier eating all that fast food. It was almost as good as eating at a Japanese outlet here but the chicken set I got was rather disappointing. The whole thing was a rather sad presentation, but the salad that came with it was totally crap. It was more like shredded cabbage tossed in vinegar, dumped into the bowl with a slice of tomato and cucumber thrown on top.

Hmmm.. Handle?

Just one more present for Michelle and we were done. Problem now was hiding the present from Michelle as she was on her way back as well. Guess my sister rather think about that once we got back.

Day Well Spent.
