Day 2 was basically a nice long sleep for me. I heard my parents yapping and decided to just sleep through their banter. Dad went back to work and Mom watched DVDs in the other room. I woke up late in the afternoon, just in time to go out and have dinner before Dad would start grumbling. They were wondering where to eat during their conversation in the afternoon and I had to remind them that we were going to meet my friend at some restaurant where he performs. So off we went to Amigos restaurant in Kemang and along the way, I noticed that there was some lighted things on the road dividers. I'm not too sure what they're there for as some are rather odd, like butterflies (just on a stick), but maybe they're there to let the drivers know that the divider is there as some places are rather badly lit.
So once I get to Amigos, I hear the band playing and wondered if the place was packed. I get in the door and was greeted by the sight of my friend Putra with his band, singing like a choir. I get a wave in and was brought to a table at the back of the restaurant, out of sight. Bleh... stupid smoking segregation. Anyway, after ordering, I got up to take a few pics and videos, hoping maybe to have a chat, but it wasn't time for their break. So I guess we'll have dinner first then....
Soon our orders arrived and as usual, I ordered the best looking thing on the menu... A nice big juicy beef rib. Although it's not as big as I thought it would be, it reminded me of this one trip to the airport to send someone off. I ended up having what they called a "dinosaur rib" and have been hunting for another one ever since. This one came really close. Add a giant glass of iced tea and I was once again in heaven. Not to forget, the music was also great. I honestly enjoyed that night, and catching up with Putra was a bonus.
